UX Researcher Usability Testing Lead

RiVidium is seeking a UX Researcher / Usability Testing Lead to support our planned MODES III team supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). This role supports Outreach & Engagement Services and helps deliver mission-focused outcomes for service members families and related stakeholders. Conducts PWS C.5.2 usability research and journey mapping; integrates user testing insights into digital performance optimization (C.5.2.3.5). This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead usability testing and user research efforts that inform strategic digital improvements.
• Capture findings pain points and recommendations from user behavior and feedback.
• Translate research results into actionable guidance for designers developers and stakeholders.
• Support a continuous-improvement approach grounded in evidence and end-user experience.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Relevant experience aligned to the role and labor category; openings may be filled at Lead (15 yrs).
• Ability to satisfy applicable Government personnel security requirements for the assigned role and work with sensitive but unclassified information.
• Strong communication teamwork and documentation skills in a mission-focused delivery environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting public sector defense or mission-focused digital communications programs.
• Familiarity with audience analytics user-centered design accessibility and content performance measurement.
• Experience collaborating across content design stakeholder engagement social media and campaign teams.

Work Setting

This role is expected to support work in the Alexandria Virginia area with on-site support at the DoD Mark Center or other customer-approved locations as required. Hybrid support in the Alexandria Virginia area is expected with on-site support as required by the customer.
