Sales and Marketing Coordinator

This is a hands-on, versatile position that supports the Director of Marketing across brand awareness, trade shows, content coordination, digital efforts, and initial sales materials. The role emphasizes execution and project management over strategy.
About Efferent Labs, Inc. Efferent Labs® offers a live, cellular data acquisition platform that will radically alter the landscape of preclinical research. Our flexible platform technology, CytoComm®, allows the researcher to prescribe the target of interest. The sensor platform is then implanted within an animal, providing real-time molecular level data that has until now, been unobtainable. The ability for the CytoComm® platform to be easily tailored to the target of interest provides an extremely valuable tool in preclinical research.Description Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute trade shows and conferences (booth logistics, shipping, on-site support, lead capture) to build brand awareness
- Coordinate creation of marketing content (white papers, website updates, collateral) by working with freelancers or agencies
- Manage basic digital marketing tasks (LinkedIn posts, email campaigns, website maintenance, and performance tracking)
- Prepare early sales enablement materials (presentations, one-pagers, lead tracking spreadsheets)
- Handle day-to-day project management, including promotional review/compliance coordination and asset organization
- Support overall brand-building initiatives
- 2-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in life sciences, medtech, or healthcare
- Hands-on involvement with events or trade shows is a strong plus
- Familiarity with regulated environments and scientific content is helpful but not required
- Strong organizational and project management skills; comfortable juggling multiple priorities
- Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Office, Canva or basic design software, and social media platforms
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
