Serving as the gatekeeper for all spare parts and maintenance supplies, this role uses the eMaint CMMS platform to ensure optimal inventory levels, accurate purchasing workflows, and seamless kitting for maintenance work orders. The ideal candidate balances technical administrative tasks with hands‑on inventory control to minimize downtime, eliminate stockouts, and support our technicians. Responsibilities Inventory Management & Maintenance Support Maintain accurate inventory data in eMaint, including part numbers, descriptions, bin locations, and min/max levels. Perform physical cycle counts to reconcile system records with physical stock. Gather and issue parts for work orders, ensuring all materials are charged to the correct equipment or cost center. Manage parts kitting for planned maintenance. Assist technicians with parts identification and tool distribution. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe storeroom environment, complying with food safety standards. Purchasing & Order Fulfillment Identify, track, and purchase materials using the computerized inventory control system. Initiate and track purchase requisitions and orders through eMaint. Coordinate with vendors for quotes, order status, and urgent shipments. Receive and verify shipments, inspect items for quality, and record receipts into the CMMS. Tag, label, and shelve parts promptly. Performance Metrics & Strategic Objectives Maintain >98% inventory accuracy between physical stock and eMaint records. Minimize stockout rate for requested parts. Improve kitting efficiency of work orders. Reduce lead time and rush shipping costs. Manage obsolescence by removing slow-moving parts. Preserve data integrity and cost containment. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 2+ years in a maintenance or industrial storeroom/warehouse environment. Familiarity with CMMS systems, preferably eMaint. Basic computer skills including MS Outlook and Excel. Full procurement cycle experience. Knowledge of machine parts, motors, bearings, and electrical components. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, and maneuver safely. High attention to detail, strong communication, and prioritization skills. Preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
