- Count change fund, set up cash drawers, and verify the accuracy of each drawer.
- Turn on the master cash control processor and set up the office terminal(s) for the day's business.
- Issue change to cashiers. Operate cash register, as needed.
- Periodically check cash register drawers to prevent extensive fund accumulation.
- Bag and seal cash and checks, make up change list for secure pick up and deposit.
- Verify cashier records against total of change funds and sales records.
- Be a U.S. citizen or national. Applicants with a Permanent Resident Card are authorized to live and work in the U.S. but are not eligible for employment in positions requiring U.S. citizenship. If selected, proof of citizenship is required.

- Positions will be filled under the DoD DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) Facilities and the Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) and are subject to the restrictions of the DoD referral system for displaced employees.
- Upon first appointment to a civilian position in the Federal government, you are entitled only to the lowest step (Step 1) of the grade for which selected. The display of a salary range on this announcement does not suggest or convey an entitlement to a higher rate of pay.

- This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Level 1 Certification under the DoD Financial Management (FM) Certification Program as a condition of employment. If you are selected, you will have to obtain this certification within two (2) years of your entry on duty in the position unless you are already in a position that requires a Level 1 Certification in which case you must complete the certification within the original 2-year period. Information about the DoD FM Certification Program can be found in DoDI 1300.26, "Operation of the DoD financial Management Certification Program", dated November 20, 2013.
