ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated healthcare team. This position is crucial for providing high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit.

Shift Requirements

• 7 PM to 7:30 AM
• Scheduled for 36 hours per week with a guarantee of 24 hours
• Willingness to float to similar units or nearby locations as necessary

Weekend and On Call Requirements

Weekend and on-call requirements will be determined by the facility and communicated as needed.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care processes
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely

Qualifications

• A minimum of 24 months of recent ICU experience
• Current life support certifications from recognized organizations (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
• Active nursing license to practice with no disciplinary actions
• Willingness to provide a driver’s license for residency verification
• Travel nursing experience is highly preferred

Additional Requirements

• Complete a skills checklist relevant to ICU nursing within the past 12 months
• Maintain active certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• No time off requests may exceed 7 days, and no requests during the first week of assignment

Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments will facilitate a faster offer. Candidates must be ready to commence work within one week of the specified start date.
