This role involves providing specialized nursing care for postpartum mothers and antepartum patients, with an emphasis on safely managing labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum needs. The position requires working during night shifts, with scheduled hours totaling 12 per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details:

• Location: Kettering, Ohio
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); two years of registered nurse (RN) experience with at least one year in labor and delivery (L&D); Ohio RN license or be eligible to obtain one; no on-call requirements; float to antepartum and postpartum units when needed float to mom-baby unit is rare.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience floating to antepartum and postpartum units.
• Additional Information: The role involves caring for postpartum mothers and antepartum patients, with occasional float assignments to other units. The assignment is based on a 12-week contract, starting on 08/24/2026, and involves night shifts with scheduled hours of 12 per shift.
