Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $3,065 per week

Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel job in Presque Isle, Maine. Job Description We are looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) for an immediate travel opening in Presque Isle, ME. The right NMT must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements. Responsibilities Attain required approval and signature by nuclear medicine physicians Transfer, position, and instruct patients in preparation for procedures Operate the scanner or gamma scintillation camera Perform procedures including injecting radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a radiologist Provide assistance to patients during procedures Ensure the environment is safe at all times for patients and staff by following safety and radiation disposal procedures Maintain accurate patient records Understand and use the McKesson PACS system Qualifications Must have 1 year of experience BLS, ARRT (N) National Certification with registration in Nuclear Medicine or NMTCB-CNMT, and state-specific licensing when required NMTs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology Notes AR RT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT), 1 Year; Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
