Seasonal Tax Preparer (In-Office)

Northwest Accounting & Tax Service is a well-established, community-focused firm providing tax preparation, accounting, and payroll services. During tax season, we handle a high volume of individual and small business returns. We’re looking for a skilled Seasonal Tax Preparer to join our team and support return processing. This role is ideal for detail-oriented tax professionals who enjoy preparing accurate returns in a team-oriented environment. The Seasonal Position runs from January through mid April. Key Responsibilities Prepare individual and small business tax returns (1040, Schedule C, etc.) from client-provided documents Review documentation for completeness and follow up with clients as needed by phone or email Ensure compliance with current IRS and Oregon state tax laws Accurately enter data into tax preparation software Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information appropriately Collaborate with the tax team to meet internal deadlines and quality standards Qualifications Prior experience preparing individual tax returns (minimum 2 season preferred) Enrolled Agent Preferred.
