About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our growing team at DevHub. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a broad spectrum of projects, from enhancing existing websites to developing custom web applications. You will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality projects that meet client specifications and industry standards. Qualifications Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery for front-end development. Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js. Understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards. Hands-on experience with PHP 8 and MySQL for back-end development. Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts. Experience working with MVC frameworks, particularly Laravel. Ability to integrate RESTful APIs and third-party web services effectively. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Basic knowledge of GNU/Linux environments and Apache web servers. Experience with package managers such as Composer and npm. Familiarity with design tools like Figma and Adobe Photoshop. CMS experience with platforms like WordPress or ExpressionEngine is a plus. Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects efficiently. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Responsibilities Transforming creative designs into dynamic, responsive, and accessible websites and applications. Building and maintaining custom functionalities using modern development practices. Testing websites across various browsers, operating systems, and devices to ensure compatibility and optimal performance. Maintaining and updating existing websites and applications by troubleshooting issues, applying fixes, and deploying enhancements. Integrating third-party APIs and RESTful web services to extend functionality. Investigating and resolving application, database, and server-related issues promptly. Collaborating with designers, developers, and project managers to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope. Participating in code reviews, documentation, and testing to uphold coding standards and quality assurance. Staying current with emerging web technologies and best practices to continuously improve development processes.
