Job Opportunity: Surgical Pathologist

Our organization is currently looking for a skilled surgical pathologist to support our growing range of services within the Department of Pathology at our medical school.

• Provide diagnostic expertise in surgical pathology.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of specialized surgical pathologists managing around 35,000 surgical specimens each year.
• Engage in clinical and translational research opportunities.
• Participate in multidisciplinary collaborations with researchers at the cancer center.

• MD degree or equivalent is required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).
• Must obtain a medical license in the State of Illinois.
• Strong diagnostic abilities and excellent communication skills are essential.
• A demonstrated commitment to academic and scholarly achievements is preferred.

The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team environment, contributing to a high-volume surgical pathology practice.

This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:

• Starting compensation ranging from $159,000 to $985,945, based on academic rank and experience.
