Job Position: Sanitation
Location: Valdosta, GA 31601 Pay Rate: $13.00/hr Shift: 6am - 2pm Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities- Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, and work areas to maintain hygiene standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by following established sanitation procedures.
- Handle and dispose of waste materials safely and efficiently.
- Operate cleaning equipment and tools, such as pressure washers, hoses, and sanitizing agents, to clean various surfaces.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and report shortages to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas meet sanitation and cleanliness requirements.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to address specific cleaning needs or issues.
- Document cleaning activities and report any maintenance or repair needs. Qualifications & Requirements
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment, tools, and sanitation chemicals.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to sanitation and hygiene.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks thoroughly.
- Physical capability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Good organizational and time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
