Assistant Store Manager

Join our team at Papa Murphy's Pizza as an Assistant Store Manager! If hired, the franchisee will be your only employer. Franchisees are independent business owners who set their own wage and benefit programs that can vary among locations. Summary Description You will be responsible for overseeing all facets of store operations while performing key functions outlined in the Shift Supervisor role. Your leadership will help ensure that our store runs smoothly and efficiently. Duties and Responsibilities Arrive at your assigned workstation in full uniform and ready to begin work at your scheduled time. Complete daily and weekly store paperwork, including Weekly Sales Reports (WSR), inventory, and labor breakdown reports. Manage banking tasks, including purchasing change and picking up deposit bags. Place and receive food and beverage orders seamlessly. Train team members in all positions within the store. Assist the Store Manager with new team member orientations and make hiring recommendations. Supervise and operate the store independently in the absence of the Store Manager during vacations and other prolonged periods. Prepare for advancement to the next available Store Manager position within the market. Required Qualifications Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred. Experience 1-2 years of previous supervisory and Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) management experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must pass a criminal background and credit history check. Excellent customer service skills are essential. Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, and POS systems. Basic reading and math skills, including weights and measurements. Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods. Able to regularly lift and/or move 25-30 pounds. Physical capability to bend, stoop, and kneel as required. Good hand dexterity and ability to reach with hands and arms. Strong written and oral communication skills.
