Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location

Napa, CA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit with an average daily census of 10 patients across 7 rooms and 14 beds
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Be available for on-call assignments depending on patient census
• Float to Medical-Surgical and Orthopedics units as needed
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Complete required onboarding modules prior to start and annually thereafter

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission — pending licenses are not accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard terms
• Must commit to all RTO and scheduling requests being submitted upfront at time of submittal — post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• RTO requests limited to no more than 7 days total
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
• Background must be clear; facility does not accept Nursys or background hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Seasoned travel nursing experience preferred
• Prior experience floating between units such as Medical-Surgical or Orthopedics
• Familiarity with high-census Labor and Delivery environments
