About This Role The Nurse Practice Manager for Structural Heart at Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital is responsible for coordinating and ensuring continuity of care for Interventional Cardiology patients. This role involves collaboration with various healthcare professionals to address pre- and post-surgical needs. Highlights Location: Weston, FL Facility: Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Manage the intake process for surgical candidates by obtaining clinical information relative to the patient's state of health. Ensure departmental compliance with regulatory and Joint Commission requirements. Coordinate with PCPs, referring physicians, and other healthcare staff to assure continuity of care. Review clinic information with surgeons for appropriate scheduling. Facilitate hospital transfers in collaboration with scheduling officers and surgeons' offices. Requirements Education: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of Professional Nursing Experience: Four years of experience as an RN in Medical Cardiology or Cardiac Surgery clinical areas Licenses & Certifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross About Cleveland Clinic Cleveland Clinic is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
