Job Overview:

Kitchen professional with recipe preparation and dish execution experience. Teamwork amongst kitchen staff during both prep and service shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties:

·         Prepare food and have extensive knowledge of written recipes and assist other cooks. Competency with kitchen equipment and tools. Restock supplies as needed.

·         Ensure customers receive excellent service and product amongst yourself and staff. Improving systems for the everyday operation of the kitchen. Making sure food is executed in a timely fashion.

·         Cleaning and sanitizing dishes, keeping the kitchen area clean and helping other departments at the drive-in.

·         Create and oversee efficient processes in the kitchen/concessions trailer.

·         Pitch in where the Kante Group needs support.

Qualifications:

·         Customer service experience.

·         Willing and desire to work in an inclusive environment.

·         Willingness to learn.

·         Speed and efficiency for preparation and menu execution.

·         Previous kitchen experience.

Working Conditions:

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL: This position may require occasional lifting and carrying of objects up to 50 pounds. Duties are typically performed in a fast paced, moderate volume restaurant environment. Regularly required to use a computer keyboard, mouse, monitor, and telephone. Regularly required to reach, talk, listen, interpret, and communicate, both verbally and in writing. Frequently required to walk/stand for extended periods of time, up to 100% of a normal work shift. Vision is expected to be at a level proficient for reading and viewing monitors and other hardware components. This role may involve exposure to hot work conditions, including elevated temperatures from kitchen equipment, cooking areas, and food preparation stations. Concessions environment of possible high stress during times of higher volume.
