Accounts Payable Manager

The Accounts Payable Manager role oversees a centralized corporate AP function supporting multiple branches, providing visibility and impact. As an Accounts Payable Manager, you’ll partner directly with the Controller and Corporate Accounting team to strengthen controls and modernize processes. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor the Corporate AP team by providing training, guidance, and performance oversight. Oversee invoice processing, coding accuracy, tax review, approvals, and weekly payment cycles. Manage vendor setup, compliance documentation, ACH/wire enrollments, and ongoing vendor relationships. Reconcile AP ledger accounts, review aging reports, and resolve discrepancies promptly. Support the month‑end close, audit requests, and documentation of AP policies and procedures. Qualifications Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience supervising an AP team in a high‑volume environment. Strong proficiency with AP systems and Excel, with demonstrated process‑improvement capability. Preferred Candidates A self‑starter who enjoys creating structure, consistency, and efficiency.
