Physician Assistant

What You’ll Do As a Physician Assistant in our practice, you’ll play a vital role in both

direct patient care and in-office procedures

, working closely with our ophthalmologists and clinical staff. Responsibilities include: Evaluate and manage patients in clinic, including history, exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning Perform ophthalmic procedures consistent with training and scope of practice Assist physicians with in-office and surgical procedures as needed Provide patient education, counseling, and follow-up care Document care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to ensure a seamless patient experience Contribute to a culture of quality, efficiency, and compassionate care What Makes This Role Special Procedural, hands-on work

with a patient-first mission What We’re Looking For Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with an active California state license No prior ophthalmology experience required.

Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current Physician Assistant certification Active California Physician Assistant license or eligibility to obtain licensure Current BLS certification or ability to obtain certification Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative clinical environment Ability to perform procedures within the approved scope of practice Preferred Qualifications Previous ophthalmology or specialty-care experience Experience assisting with clinical or surgical procedures Experience using electronic medical record systems
