Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and identify care needs effectively.
• Organize and implement patient care plans tailored to individual requirements.

• Serve as charge nurse when assigned, overseeing unit operations.
• Document patient care accurately and comprehensively.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Recognize and respond promptly to life-threatening situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
• Participate in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
• Adapt care approaches based on patients' age-specific physiological and psychosocial needs.
• Support patients' cultural and spiritual practices within medical guidelines.

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience

No prior experience required; new graduates encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in a Compact state or the relevant regional licensure.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Effective organizational and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of age-specific developmental and psychosocial patient needs.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift frequently.
• Ability to safely handle exposure to blood or infectious materials.
