Senior Electrical Estimator 3 - Industrial/Commercial

We are partering with a 100% employee-owned electrical contractor ho hire a Senior Estimator to lead electrical estimates for industrial and commercial projects from initial scope development through final bid review. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to leadership, business development, and preconstruction. The ideal candidate is comfortable leading bid reviews while mentoring junior estimators. Must have electrical estimating experience to be considered.
Location: Eagan Minnesota (On-Site)

What You'll Do
Prepare complete electrical estimates for commercial / industrial projects, including quotations and subcontracts
Interpret civil, structural, architectural, and mechanical drawings and specifications
Lead estimating kickoff meetings, pre-bid reviews, and final bid reviews
Review electrical and low voltage systems, attend pre-bid meetings and job walks, and define project scope
Estimate labor, materials, and administrative costs
Develop scope documents, bid leveling packages, and evaluate subcontractor pricing
Partner with business development and leadership on bid strategy
Lead estimating teams on large pursuits and assist with resource planning
Participate in customer interviews and presentation preparation
Maintain estimate documentation for open-book projects
Help develop estimating standards and mentor junior estimators
What You Bring
7+ years of electrical estimating experience required
Experience with conceptual, low voltage, and design/build projects
Experience estimating commercial/industrial electrical projects
Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Experience with computerized estimating software (Accubid/Enterprise preferred)
Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel proficiency
Associate degree or equivalent experience
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
