AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist that is available for the 2026/2027 school year.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in communication Disorders, Speech, or Speech Audiology.
• Must possess or be eligible for a Speech Language Pathologist License in the State of Virginia.
• Hold, or be able to obtain, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting required.

Job Description:

• Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location. Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset.
• Contract through the 2026/2027 school year – 37.5 to 40 hours per week
• Contract follows the academic district calendar

Position Overview:

Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.

Essential Functions:

• Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success.
• Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports.
• Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
• Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
• Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.

Salary:

• $2,250 – $2,437 per week.
