Quality Inspector

Quality InspectorTrillium Professional is now seeking Quality Inspectors in Oxnard, CA for direct-hire!Key Responsibilities:Inspect incoming materials, in-process and finished parts to ensure they meet engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards.Use precision inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, thread gauges, and other tools to measure product featuresPerform 3D part inspections and dimensional analysis using laser scanning equipment and PolyWorks software (training available if needed)Record inspection data accurately and working with engineering to determine part acceptance or rejection based on requirementsCalibrate, maintain and keep 5S for all tools per internal procedures and schedulesRead and interpret work orders, blueprints, and inspection documentation to identify critical dimensions and tolerancesComplete nonconforming material reports (NCMRs) and initiate corrective action requests (CARs) as requiredSupport material review board (MRB) processes by identifying, documenting, and routing discrepant material for dispositionPay Range: $22.00—$30.00 per hour (commensurate with experience) Schedule: Monday – Friday (8-hour shift)Qualifications:Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus.Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools and basic shop mathAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbolsExperience with laser scanning tools and dimensional analysis software such as PolyWorks is highly desirableBasic computer skills for data entry and reporting.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify defects and discrepanciesEffective communication and documentation skillsAbility to follow established inspection procedures and contribute to continuous improvement, familiarity with quality control processes is a plus.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 pounds products for inspectionHigh school diploma or GED required; technical certification or coursework in quality or manufacturing is a plusTrillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
