In return, we want you to be hands-on, roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities May Include:Pallet SortingSort pallets as they are moved from loading docks to sort line/area.Removes debris and trash from pallets.Determine pallet quality.Material Handling & Forklift Operation:Operate the forklift to efficiently move pallets, containers, and materials throughout the plant facility.Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets and transports load to designated area.Conduct inspection of the forklift prior to operating, promptly reporting issues to maintenance team for resolution.Loading and Unloading:Assist in loading and unloading trucks or containers with pallets or materials using the forklift, ensuring proper placement and securement of items.Lift and carry up to 40 lbs throughout their work shift.Push items with a maximum force of 31 lbs./feet.Pull items with a maximum force of 31 lbs./feet.Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment daily.Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.Starting Pay $15.40 per hour + $1.50 per hour shift differentialShift- Overnight Monday-Thursday 8pm-6:30pmSkills to Succeed in the RoleAccountability, Active Listening, Computer Literacy, Critical Thinking, Decision Making, Forklift Operations, Interpersonal, Managerial Confidence, Mathematic Literacy, Time Management, Verbal CommunicationWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and we are committed to developing a diverse workforce in which everyone is treated fairly, with respect, and has the opportunity to contribute to business success while realizing his or her potential.
