Lead Product Manager - Enterprise Data Inventory

FINRA’s Office of the Chief Data Officer is seeking an experienced Lead Product Manager to lead the development and delivery of an enterprise-wide Data Inventory platform. This role will drive a strategic initiative to identify, document, and manage sensitive data assets across structured and semi-structured data sources, enabling the organization to implement focused, risk-based data protection controls. As the Lead Product Manager for our Data Inventory initiative, you will own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a platform that discovers and catalogs sensitive data elements at the attribute level across enterprise data stores. Translate business requirements from Enterprise Data Privacy Office (EDPO), Cyber and Information Security (CIS), Information Operations, Technology Operations, and Internal Audit (IA) stakeholders into actionable product features. Identify and prioritize use cases that deliver maximum value for data protection and operational efficiency. Make data-driven decisions on feature prioritization and scope management. Partner with cross-functional teams including Enterprise Data Privacy Office (EDPO), Cyber and Information Security (CIS), Information Operations, Technology Operations, and Internal Audit (IA). Engage with application owners and data stewards to understand data landscape and sensitivity requirements. Build consensus across diverse stakeholder groups with competing priorities. Present product updates and value delivery to senior leadership. Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through implementation and ongoing operations. Work with engineering teams to build automated data discovery and classification capabilities. Manage product backlog and sprint planning activities. Define success metrics and KPIs to measure product impact and adoption.
