Facilities Technician

Talascend is currently seeking a Facilities Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona . Overview The main function of a facilities technician is to provide general maintenance support for the assigned buildings, ensuring safety, security, and proper operation of the facility. Responsibilities Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained. Troubleshoot power, HVAC system and controls, and mechanical systems. Maintain general & preventative maintenance, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management. Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed. Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 5-7 years of experience required. Forklift certified. Aerial certification. Experience with installing, removing doors, basic maintenance, carpentry. Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time. Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Background Check and Drug Screen may be required.
