Heavy Equipment Operator Class A Truck Driver

Job Description

Are you an experienced heavy equipment operator with a Class A CDL? Do you enjoy a dynamic, challenging work environment? Join our team as a Heavy Equipment Operator for a leading 24/7 emergency railroad service provider committed to safety and excellence.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 7 am - 4 pm, with potential for overtime and emergency weekend shifts.
Close-knit team with plenty of overtime opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

Safely transport equipment and materials to job sites.
Operate heavy equipment like cranes, backhoes, and excavators.
Assist in rerailing, maintenance, and track repairs.
Focus on safety and operational procedures.
Perform routine maintenance and site clean-up.
Be available for on-call emergency service, working in all weather conditions.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience or equivalent training.
Valid Class A CDL.
Willingness to pass safety and qualification tests (E-Rail Safe).
Availability for 24/7 emergency calls.

Physical Demands:

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work extended hours and in all weather conditions.
Operate heavy equipment and cranes.

Background:

Criminal background and MVR reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
