About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Engineering HMI Programmer who is passionate about automation, test systems, and software-driven solutions. The ideal candidate is a National Instruments LabVIEW expert who can collaborate with engineers and clients alike, translating technical needs into functional, reliable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain LabVIEW applications for automation, data acquisition, and control systems.
• Proficient with other code languages such as C/C++, C#, VBA, Python, and IEC 61131-3 Languages for PLCs and/or ladder logic.
• Participate in full project lifecycles-from concept and design to implementation and validation.
• Work directly with customers to define requirements, troubleshoot systems, and ensure successful delivery.
• Support business development through technical discussions, proposals, and identifying new opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers on integrated system solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience with LabVIEW (Certified LabVIEW Developer preferred).
• Excellent communication skills and customer-facing experience.
• Strong understanding of instrumentation, data acquisition, and control hardware.
• Hands-on experience programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar).
• Ability to troubleshoot across electrical, mechanical, and controls systems.
• Strong communication skills - comfortable talking with teammates and customers.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: enjoys rolling up sleeves to help wherever needed.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for customer support.
