Senior Full Stack DeveloperGenesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to build, modernize, and support enterprise applications. This role requires strong experience across the Microsoft .NET stack (legacy ASP.NET through modern.NET Core / latest.NET), modern UI development with Angular and/or React, solid Python skills, and strong SQL expertise for building high-performing data access layers and troubleshooting production issues. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with excellent debugging skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to propose and implement sound design solutions.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using ASP.NET / MVC / Web API / .NET Core / latest.NETBuild modern web UI components using Angular and/or React, with strong TypeScript and responsive UI practicesDevelop and maintain Python utilities/services (automation, integrations, scripting, API components)Write and optimize SQL (complex queries, joins, indexing strategy awareness, performance tuning, stored procedures as applicable)Analyze query performance and resolve data-related production issuesUnderstand and support batch jobs / scheduled jobs and job dependencies for operational workflowsBuild and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployments using Jenkins and automation tooling such as AnsiblePerform strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across UI, backend, batch, and database layersContribute to solution design and architecture; produce design approaches that are maintainable, scalable, and supportableCollaborate effectively within an Agile team; participate in code reviews, and technical discussionsRequirements:8 years of software development experience with hands-on delivery in enterprise environmentsStrong experience in legacy ASP.NET and modern.NET Core / latest.NETStrong front-end experience with Angular and/or ReactProficiency in Python for backend or automation use casesStrong SQL skills: Ability to write complex SQL queries (joins, window functions, aggregations)Query optimization mindset (indexes, execution plan awareness, performance troubleshooting)Experience working with stored procedures and transactional systems (as applicable)Experience supporting batch job processing/schedulers and production support patternsExperience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and deployment automation with AnsibleStrong debugging, troubleshooting, and RCA skillsStrong communication skills and team-first mindsetDesired Skills:Experience with performance tuning for backend services and databasesFamiliarity with monitoring/logging and production readiness practicesExperience with microservices, containers, or cloud-native patternsExposure to job schedulers (e.g., Autosys/Airflow) and large-scale batch environmentsPay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
