Job Description

BJC Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join the expanding cardiology team at Parkland Health Center in Farmington, Missouri, located approximately 90 minutes from St. Louis. This outstanding full-time opportunity offers mentorship from experienced physicians, state-of-the-art facilities, J1 and H1B visa sponsorship, and an exceptional work-life balance with no after-hours STEMI call-all within a nationally respected, physician-led organization. The Interventional Cardiologist will:
• Provide both inpatient and outpatient cardiology care at Parkland Health Center
• Perform cardiac catheterizations, PCI, CardioMEMS, and peripheral vascular procedures
• Enjoy a newly renovated cath lab with dedicated procedural time
• Participate in a 1:4 call schedule (one night per week and one weekend per month; minimal call-backs)
• Work alongside 2 Interventional Cardiologists, 1 Invasive Cardiologist, and 2 experienced APPs
• Optionally perform device/pacemaker implantations (a plus but not required)
• Utilize EPIC EMR for clinical documentation
• Collaborate with the BJC Medical Group Cardiac Service Line for coordinated care
• Participate in program development and community outreach initiatives
• Benefit from excellent mentorship for recent fellowship graduates
• Not accepting Locums candidates
• Open to visa candidates
• BE in 2026 (preferred) and 2027 Interventional Cardiology Fellows welcomed
• Not open to 1099 candidates

Compensation and Benefits:
• • Base Salary: $650,000 (2-year guarantee), transitioning to a wRVU-based productivity model
• $50,000 sign-on bonus
• $2,000 monthly fellowship stipend available to candidates still in training
