Radiologic Technologist

This position is responsible for performing radiographic procedures to produce diagnostic images in the radiology department, as well as in the emergency room and surgery suite using portable techniques. Provides procedural-related patient care and education. Maintains records and documentation for procedures. Identifies and supports patient care needs, including language barriers. Treats patients and families with dignity and respect. Ensures confidentiality of patient records. Interacts professionally with patients and families and provides explanations and verbal reassurance as necessary. Must be able to work independently and be proficient. Position is subject to sharing in the rotating on-call weeknights and weekend schedule.

Submission Requirements:

• 1 year of radiologic/CT experience - Required
• Bachelor's or associate's degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field. - Required
• AART - Required
• COVID Vaccine or Medical/Religious Exemption- Required
• Can start with Kansas license pending. Must provide proof of license application prior once position offered.
• Skills Checklist - Required
• Two Supervisory References - Required

Certification Requirements:

• ARRT
• State License Requirements Kansas

About the Facility:

We offer 24 hours X-rays and computed tomography with a 64-Slice CT scanner. We can also schedule you for an: MRI Nuclear Medicine Sonogram Mammogram/Dexa. Your test can be facilitated by one of our certified Mobile imaging partners that visit our Hospital. We are staffed by Licensed Radiologic Technologists that will make your visit as pleasant as possible.
