Position Overview\nMetro Psychotherapy is searching for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our innovative telehealth team. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough assessments and provide individual, couple, and family therapy tailored to the unique needs of each client. \n
- Create and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation that complies with Oregon state mental health regulations, ensuring the security and confidentiality of client records. \n
- Participate in clinical supervision sessions to discuss case dynamics and receive constructive feedback on therapeutic methodologies. \n
- Engage in routine staff meetings to share insights, discuss best practices, and contribute to team initiatives that enhance service delivery. \n
- Manage a flexible caseload effectively, accommodating both part-time and full-time schedules, and adapting to the changing needs of clients. \n
- Stay updated with the latest evidence-based therapeutic practices and integrate these into your clinical work. \n
The clients you will serve encompass a broad spectrum, including those facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and other psychological challenges. Your expertise will directly contribute to their healing and personal development, significantly impacting their quality of life.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Must possess an active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Oregon. \n
- A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field is required. \n
- Proven clinical skills in providing individual, couple, and family therapy. \n
- Demonstrated excellence in communication and organizational skills, ensuring effective therapeutic relationships and adherence to deadlines. \n
- Ability to work independently, manage your time, and accommodate a flexible work schedule to ensure balanced client accessibility. \n

- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor is preferred. \n
- Familiarity with telehealth technologies and virtual therapy platforms to effectively engage clients online. \n
- Experience in trauma-informed care practices or specialized therapy modalities is a plus. \n
