Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and bid proposals.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Develop accurate budgets for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
• Coordinate with project managers, field teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, scope gaps, and potential project risks.
• Support projects through bidding, negotiations, and project handoff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing.
• Ability to independently manage estimates and multiple bids.
• Experience with subcontractor solicitation, bid leveling, and quantity takeoffs.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
