Job Summary: Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical Floor) Newport, Oregon
The Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical Floor) provides high standards of professional nursing care for acutely ill adults and patients requiring surgery, including both emergent and elective cases. This role supports clinical care on a Medical Surgical unit and works with registered nurses and nurse assistants to deliver patient-focused services. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift; minimum 36.0 hours per week.
• Start Date: 08/10/2026
• Required Qualifications: Current unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license (required upon submission); Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Level (required); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) (required).
• Preferred Qualifications: Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported.
