We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Recruiter to support staffing efforts for a wholesale distribution organization in Connecticut. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who excels at managing recruitment from initial sourcing through offer coordination while building strong partnerships with hiring leaders. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying talent, conducting candidate assessments, and keeping recruitment activity organized within applicant tracking systems.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle for open positions, from intake discussions and talent sourcing to interview coordination and staffing recommendations.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing priorities, define candidate profiles, and create effective recruiting strategies for corporate roles.
• Identify and engage candidates with relevant experience through multiple sourcing channels, including direct outreach, job boards, referrals, and recruiting events.
• Conduct phone screens and formal interviews to evaluate experience, communication skills, and overall fit for assigned opportunities.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, workflow updates, and staffing documentation within the applicant tracking system.
• Coordinate interview schedules and communication between candidates and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and well-organized hiring process.
• Track recruiting activity, pipeline progress, and daily priorities to support timely staffing decisions and consistent follow-through.
• Contribute to ongoing recruiting process improvements and support operational changes in hiring workflows when needed.• 3+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, corporate recruiting, or a closely related talent acquisition role.
• Demonstrated ability to source candidates proactively and manage multiple open requisitions at the same time.
• Experience conducting phone screens and interviews to assess qualifications and alignment with role requirements.
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and standard recruitment documentation practices.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional partners.
• Ability to stay organized, manage a fast-paced daily schedule, and maintain attention to detail throughout the hiring process.
• Experience supporting recruiting activities within a business environment, preferably in distribution, operations, or related industries.
