Overview Job Requirements: Step into the spotlight and help Make Movies Better! As an AMC Crew member, you\'re a team member responsible for guest experience, operating with energy and professionalism across roles such as welcoming guests, selling snacks, checking tickets, maintaining cleanliness, and running the register. We cross-train to build new skills and grow your career. What You’ll Be Doing Greet guests with a smile and create memorable moments, handling guest concerns with active listening and clear communication. Use AMC\'s POS system to process transactions quickly and accurately. Engage in sales techniques (suggestive selling, upselling, and merchandising) to boost guest experience and loyalty card sign-ups. Prepare tasty treats safely and efficiently, including popcorn, and keep theatres, lobbies, and restrooms clean and welcoming. Follow instructions on the safe use of cleaning chemicals/materials. Check tickets and direct guests to their auditorium with a helpful attitude; assist with enforcing the movie rating system respectfully. Monitor auditoriums for picture/sound quality, lighting, audience behavior, and potential piracy. Assist with opening and closing duties to start shifts strong. Provide support to fellow crew members when needed; contribute to teamwork and a positive work environment. Help create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected. Uphold AMC Wardrobe 101 Standards (e.g., black non-slip shoes, black pants, AMC-provided shirt where applicable) and adhere to local regulations. Maintain a professional and positive demeanor and uphold company policies and procedures. What We Need From You No previous experience required; training will be provided. Evening, weekend, and occasional holiday availability. Flexibility to support busy periods as theatres are open year-round. Reliable teammate who shows up on time and completes required training and certifications. Friendly, outgoing personality with a love for people and a passion for delivering a fantastic guest experience. Ability to work in a fast-paced, fun environment. A love for movies and a commitment to creating a great guest experience. Requirements to be Performed Standing, walking, lifting, twisting, and bending on a frequent basis. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry it up to 90 feet (or deposit into a dumpster or trash compactor).
