Scheduler

Akkodis is seeking a Scheduler for a Direct Hire with a client in Overland Park, KS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring project progress, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders, and implementing delay mitigation and schedule recovery strategies to ensure successful project delivery.


Salary Range: $100K/Yearly to $135K/Yearly; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Scheduler Job Responsibilities include:

• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project for construction projects.
• Monitor project progress by coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure schedule milestones are achieved.
• Conduct delay analysis, identify schedule risks, and recommend recovery plans and mitigation strategies to minimize project impacts.
• Prepare and distribute project reports, schedule updates, look-ahead plans, and progress tracking documentation for stakeholders.
• Attend and lead coordination meetings with clients, designers, and vendors to review progress, resolve issues, and maintain project timelines.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and construction teams to ensure project plans are buildable, safe, and aligned with project objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of experience in construction scheduling, planning, or project controls on large-scale construction projects.
• Proven expertise in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project, including schedule development, progress tracking, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project lifecycles, delay analysis, and contract-related scheduling requirements.
