The Infection Preventionist conducts regular training sessions for staff on infection control protocols. Participation in quality improvement initiatives is expected. The position requires thorough knowledge of infection prevention and control guidelines. Strong communication and organizational skills are necessary for success in this role. Candidates must possess a valid RN State License and maintain current BLS certification. Experience in infection prevention is essential, with a minimum of two years required. The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is critical.
