Operations Supervisor

We create more efficient ways for shippers and carriers to transport goods across North America.As a Operations Supervisor in Managed Transportation at RXO, you’ ll use your expertise in process improvement and LEAN principles to enhance efficiency and drive continuous improvement. With a strong understanding of processing centers and scheduling procedures, you ’ ll ensure seamless collaboration between the PC&L (Production Control & Logistics) team, the operations team and the customer to optimize operations and performance.What your day-to-day will look like:Leverage expertise in process improvement methodologies to maximize operational efficiency and effectivenessDrive continuous improvement by implementing LEAN principles to streamline workflows and reduce wasteApply a deep understanding of processing centers and scheduling procedures to manage workflows and optimize productivityFoster collaboration among PC&L teams, supply chain partners and customers to enhance operational performance and achieve shared goalsNavigate complex operational challenges with clarity, resolving ambiguity to maintain focus and productivityUtilize comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end process flows, from inbound to outbound, to ensure accurate inventory management and billingMentor and develop hourly team members across all PC&L departments, promoting growth and skill- buildingCultivate a positive work environment that prioritizes employee morale, development, teamwork and accountabilityAddress employee conflicts proactively using proven leadership strategies to maintain a cohesive and motivated workforceMaintain a safe and respectful workplace by enforcing policies against harassment, drugs and workplace violence, while promptly documenting and reporting concerns or incidents to managementAt a minimum, you’ll need:2 years of experience in transportation, logistics or supply chainIt’d be great if you also have :Bachelor’s degree in a related fieldExperience working with a Transportation Management Systems (TMS), preferably Oracle Transportation ManagementExperience with process improvement initiativesSolid leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively supervise, coach and influence employeesA willingness to work cross-functionally on multiple accountsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting clean, organized and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audienceDoes this sound like you?
