Registered Professional Land Surveyor

Responsibilities
- Conduct boundary, topographic, and construction layout surveys for engineering projects.
- Perform both field and office surveying tasks, including collecting, verifying, and documenting survey data.
- Operate total stations and other surveying equipment to ensure accurate field measurements.
- Prepare survey drawings, maps, reports, and other project documentation.
- Interpret plans, legal descriptions, survey records, and engineering documents.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and project teams to support project execution and compliance.
- Manage the surveying department, including planning, oversight, and quality control of surveying activities.
- Travel to project sites as needed and perform field work in varying outdoor conditions.
- Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) license in Texas or the ability to obtain licensure within an established timeframe.
- Strong experience with boundary, topographic, and construction surveying.
- Proficiency with total stations, surveying instruments, and field data collection tools.
- Experience using survey and CAD software; familiarity with GIS tools is a plus.
- Drone surveying experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and safety.
- Valid driver's license.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 12 personal days per year.
- 9 paid holidays.

Competitive salary: $115,000-$135,000 annually , based on qualifications.
