DescriptionJob Title: Commercial Cleaning TechnicianReports To: Site Supervisor / Owner-OperatorLocation: Norcross/Suwanee/Loganville GA, and the surrounding areaEmployment Type: Part-Time (Evenings & weekends) 15-20 hours a weekPosition Summary: As a Commercial Cleaning Technician at Palmetto Facilities Group LLC, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning and janitorial services in a professional, efficient, and detail-oriented manner. You will help maintain safe and sanitary environments at client locations, both under Jan-Pro contracts and private service agreements. This role requires reliability, trustworthiness, and the ability to work independently while representing the Palmetto brand.Key Responsibilities: Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules as assigned for each facility Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors in offices, restrooms, and common areas Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, and high-touch surfaces Dust furniture, windowsills, and equipment Restock paper products and cleaning supplies where applicable Empty and replace trash liners in waste receptacles Secure client keys or access codes; lock up sites upon completion Adhere to all PPE and safety procedures, including the use of chemicals Report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly Maintain a professional appearance and wear the required uniform Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous cleaning or janitorial experience a plus, but not required Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently Trustworthy with client property and confidential workspaces Must be able to pass background screening and eligibility verification (I-9) Must have reliable transportation and the ability to work scheduled evening shifts. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and carry equipment up to 30 lbs Able to walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions Uniform & Equipment: Jan-Pro-branded shirt provided and required Employee must supply khaki pants and slip-resistant shoes Cleaning tools and PPE provided by the company Compensation & Benefits: Starting at $15-hour Paid training and certification in Jan-Pro standards Opportunities for advancement to Team Lead roles
