Housekeeper

Description Responsibilities The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within designated areas, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for residents, clients, and guests. They perform a variety of cleaning tasks according to established standards and procedures, contributing to the overall cleanliness and hygiene of the facility or residence. In addition, you will: Daily vacuuming on all carpeted floors and rugs. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed. Dispose of garbage and recyclables in accordance with established procedures. Scrub floors, clean, disinfect mirrors, towel holders, doorknobs, and fixtures in all restrooms. Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and cleaning products. Monitor inventory levels, order as needed and code invoices for payment. General dusting of furniture, shelves, and wood trim. Sweep hard surface floors every day and mop as needed. Ability to operate buffing and burnishing equipment. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, or exposure to hazardous substances. Report any safety concerns to supervisor. Comply with health and sanitation regulations and guidelines relevant to the industry. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional work experience may be substituted for educational requirements. Experience: Prior experience in housekeeping activities. Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and products. Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently without compromising quality. Excellent time management skills. Well organized and dependable. Excellent verbal communication skills.
