This position will involve travel to customer sites in North America in support of our customer's field service work needs.Key Responsibilities of a Field Service Technician:Work with/lead end-customer and on-site staff to successfully, efficiently, and safely complete field service work.Adhere to on-site PPE/GMP standardsOperate basic hand toolsOperation of specialty tools - Pullers, Oxy-fuel torchesOperate specialty tools as per training received - Laser shaft alignment tool, Vibration analysis toolOperation of basic electrical tools - Digital Multimeter, Loop Calibrator, Signal GeneratorHome weekends. Travel time 3-4 days a week. Pay rate: $25-$26 an hour, OT and travel pay. Health, dental, vision & 401k matchTools provided (70 - 80 lbs.) and training. For training, tech will be traveling w/ existing tech and eventually visiting manufacturing site in Germany.Skills and Experience:We are willing to train the right entry level individual.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Mechanical aptitude with ability to work with hand and power toolsWritten skills – Ability to generate quality field service reports with the needed technical information that is informative and clear to our customers.Ability to understand blower technology and to learn how to assess technical issues.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical specifications and drawings.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products.Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
