Registered Nurse - ICU/IMU

Location: Wilson, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, with weekend shifts required every other or every third weekend. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours/week.

Job Description: Seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our ICU/IMU unit. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, manage critical drips, and demonstrate proficient EKG interpretation while collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU/IMU.
Monitor and assess patient health, implementing interventions as needed.
Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including vasopressor and sedation titration.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records using Meditech EMR.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience, preferably in an ICU setting.
Current BLS and ACLS certification.
Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
Understanding of critical drips and EKG interpretation necessary.
