Quick Facts Location: San Diego, CA Start Date: 10/01/2026 End Date/Duration: One-year commitment with options to extend up to 5 years Shift: Days, Monday–Friday, 0800–1600 Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Full-time License/Certs: Active, unrestricted California medical license; BLS certification Experience: Minimum 2 years in Internal Medicine preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $175/hour (all-inclusive) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated team support throughout your assignment What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine services to adult patients (18+), including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of acute and chronic conditions Conduct routine physical exams, health assessments, and health education counseling Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging Prescribe medications and manage medication plans Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers for complex cases Supervise and mentor medical students, interns, and residents Document patient interactions accurately in compliance with HIPAA standards Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education Act as a primary care provider, managing preventive care, wellness, and chronic disease management What You Need Required: MD or DO degree from an accredited U.S. or Canadian medical school Board certification recognized by ABMS or AOA Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency Current, full, active, and unrestricted California medical license BLS certification from AHA or ARC Preferred: Outpatient primary care experience Ability to work independently and collaboratively Excellent communication and patient management skills About the Assignment This outpatient internal medicine role is based at a leading facility in San Diego, CA, focusing on adult primary care.
