Pharmacist - Marana, Arizona

A 200-bed hospital is seeking two full-time night pharmacists to support their pharmacy services in Tucson, AZ. This contract position offers the chance to work alongside a dedicated healthcare team in a dynamic hospital environment.


Responsibilities include collaborating closely with physicians on medication selection and dosing, educating nursing staff, patients, and physicians about proper medication use, and leading medication safety initiatives. You will also manage patient profiles, help prevent and report adverse drug reactions, prepare IV admixtures and nutritional supplements, and maintain narcotic accountability.


The position follows a 7 on, 7 off night shift schedule (Wednesday through Tuesday). The assignment duration is approximately 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension to a temp-to-hire opportunity. Immediate availability is preferred.


Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with active credentials
• Hospital pharmacy experience, ideally in a 200-bed or similar acute care setting
• Strong knowledge of medication safety and IV admixture preparation
• Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance
