This role is responsible for creating a welcoming experience, accurately identifying vehicle service needs, and coordinating timely and efficient repairs while ensuring complete customer satisfaction. The Service Advisor plays a key role in building customer trust, retention, and loyalty./ppSchedule: Monday Friday with Saturdays as needed/ph3Key Responsibilities:/h3ulliGreet all customers in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner./liliClearly communicate vehicle symptoms and service needs between customers and technicians./liliPrepare accurate repair orders by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered during inspections./liliProvide customers with detailed cost and time estimates, and obtain approval before any work is performed./liliMaintain ongoing communication with customers regarding vehicle status, changes to estimates, and completion timelines./liliPromote and sell recommended maintenance and repair services based on manufacturer guidelines, vehicle history, and inspection findings./liliReview completed work with customers and ensure their understanding of repairs performed and associated costs./liliCoordinate with technicians, parts department, and BDC team to ensure timely and efficient workflow./liliHandle customer concerns or complaints with professionalism and escalate unresolved issues to management as needed./liliFollow all warranty and policy guidelines to ensure compliance./liliKeep service drive, advisor stations, and customer waiting areas clean and organized./li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3ulliDealership experience preferred/liliADP, Reynolds or Dealer Trac experience required/liliWorkflow application experience preferred/liliMust be 18 years of age/liliMust be able to pass a background test/liliMust be able to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and be on your feet for extended periods of time/liliMust be reliable/liliMust have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record/liliNeed to be able to work some Saturdays/liliMaintain excellent organizational skills and time management/liliHave a professional image and attitude/liliHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience (required)/liliValid drivers license (required)/li/ulh3Work Environment:/h3ulliFast-paced automotive service department/liliFrequent communication with technicians, advisors, and management/liliPrimarily indoor work environment with occasional shop floor interaction./liliAbility to stand and move around various service shops and the dealership./liliTeam-oriented dealership culture focused on efficiency and customer satisfaction/li/ulh3Compensation and Benefits:/h3ulliBase Salary: $60,000 - $110,000 (Base + Commission)/li/ulh3Benefits Package:/h3ulliMedical/liliDental/liliVision/liliShort-Term Disability/liliLong-Term Disability/lili401(k) plan with employer match/liliPaid Time off and Holidays/liliEmployee Discounts on vehicles and service/li/ulpAt Inver Grove Honda, were committed to helping you thrive.
