ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager to lead our Employer Experience team, the team responsible for building our employer-facing benefit experience. This role owns both the external-facing experience and internal systems and tools that support how Garner’s employer clients interact with and experience the Garner benefit. This includes our client and broker-facing Garner Portal, our invoicing and eligibility systems, and a suite of internal applications operated by the Implementations, Integrations and Finance teams. This role reports to the Head of Product. Where you will work: This role will be based in our New York City office (in the Financial District). You must be willing to work in the office 3 days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. What you will do: * Own Garner’s external-facing employer experience strategy and roadmap, including development and expansion of the Garner Portal. * Drive development of internal revenue and eligibility data products that enable teams across Garner to perform analytics based on Garner’s membership and revenue. * Partner with product, engineering, operations, legal, and finance to enable 0-to-1 employer-facing products and use cases. Example projects include designing a broker-facing product enabling them to gain insight into the performance of their customers, or building a data warehouse product enabling innovative provider and plan analytics. The ideal candidate has: * 5+ years of Product Management experience, including at least one role owning a technical or financial product end-to-end. * Strong systems thinking and detail orientation. You instinctively look for edge cases and reason from first principles about how systems can fail * Strong technical background, with experience owning financial or data systems at scale. * Superb written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for engineering, business, and external stakeholders. * Deep AI fluency, using AI daily to run analyses, build prototypes, and automate workflows. The target salary range for this position is $222,000 - $245,000. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws.
