Job Title

Packing and Quality Control Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Pack products into cartons/containers according to order requirements and packing standards.

Verify item counts, part numbers/SKUs, and product condition before packing.

Label packages accurately and ensure documentation is complete (packing slips, routing labels, etc.).

Prepare orders for shipment, staging packed items in designated areas.

Perform basic quality checks to ensure products are not damaged and packaging is secure.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety procedures.

Meet productivity and accuracy goals while following standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Notify a supervisor/lead of damaged goods, shortages, or packaging issues.

Qualifications

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work at a steady pace.

Basic math skills (counting, verifying quantities).

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and move throughout the shift.

Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand motions.

Ability to lift and carry items as required by the role.

Work Environment

Warehouse, distribution, or production setting.

May involve fast-paced work and meeting daily shipment deadlines.
