The Behavioral Health Technician II (BHT II) is responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care to adult patients in a mental health partial hospitalization setting. This role supports the therapeutic process through assessment, treatment, and coordination of care, while ensuring compliance with all documentation and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities include:

• Conduct patient evaluations and assist in developing individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling services
• Facilitate up to three therapeutic group sessions per day
• Deliver psychoeducational lectures to support patient learning and recovery
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization as needed
• Support patient intake processes and complete comprehensive assessments for new admissions
• Coordinate case management services, including resource linkage and care planning
• Assist with treatment planning, ongoing patient progress reviews, and discharge planning
• Conduct individual therapy sessions as appropriate
• Deliver age-appropriate care tailored to the adult patient population
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in accordance with licensure standards and MLH requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care Additional Expectations:
• Provide support to patients and families throughout the course of treatment
• Balance direct patient care responsibilities with required administrative and documentation tasks
• Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and ethical practices at all times

Experience:

Minimum 2 years experience at a Graduate-level supervised internship or practicum in a mental health setting and at least 2 years of post-graduate

Education:

Master's or Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or Master's in Social Work

Licensures/Certifications:

Pennsylvania Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor

Employee Status: Regular

Pay Range: $65,520.00 - $101,504.00
