Senior Analyst, Portfolio Strategy & Operations

We offer a variety of fresh, healthy, ready-to-eat meals and snacks through our fresh food vending machines, wholesale partners, and our office pantry solution — providing chef-curated meals to customers within seconds. Today, we operate a network of Fridges and partner with clients nationwide in high-foot-traffic areas, such as airports, hospitals, universities, and large office buildings — where there is limited accessibility to fresh, healthy, grab-n-go options.

About the Role: Every week, Farmer’s Fridge decides which Fridges to activate, convert, relocate, or remove across a national network. This role owns the operating system behind those decisions - working cross functionally to manage the thresholds that trigger them, the forecast they feed, and the reporting that proves they worked.

You will sit at the intersection of Channel Strategy, Account Management, Finance, Fridge Operations, and Logistics. Channel Strategy analyzes Fridge economics. Account Management handles the client conversation. Logistics executes the physical fridge placement. You set the operating rhythm, the economic decision trees, and the reporting systems all of it runs on - so decisions convert into governed action without someone adjudicating every exception by hand.

This is a systems-building and economic-judgment role, not a coordination or dispatch role. The goal is to mobilize the right team fast enough to protect portfolio margin.

What You’ll Own...

Decision Tree Frameworks and Economics

• Set the decision trees and payback logic that leverage analyses from Channel strategy on fridge lifecycle and the execution nuances
• Drive data driven decision making on fridge placement using site-traffic intelligence. Capture and operationalize sensor-based foot-traffic data, set the traffic benchmarks a site must clear, and apply them to placement, relocation, and removal decisions to make predictive economic decisions.
• Set frameworks and processes to drive payment discipline for our office pantry channel (Business+) in partnership with Accounts Receivable: invoicing readiness, escalation visibility, and stocking-pause decisions that protect cash flow.
• Own site-access reliability with Fridge Operations. Diagnose recurring access failures (building hours, credentialing, escort requirements), set standards that maximize 24/7 availability, and translate recurring patterns into upstream fixes before they become service failures or lost revenue.
• Build the framework for evaluating Fridge move and swap requests - feasibility, tradeoffs, resource requirements, and expected return - before resources are committed.

Forecasting & the Finance Interface

• Maintain a rolling, by-market model of new launches, inactive Fridges, staged removals, and available Fridge inventory. This is a direct input to Finance’s revenue forecast and to downstream demand planning.
• Build and own the weekly net portfolio outlook: the Sales pipeline for installs in the next 4–12 weeks, historical run-rate and seasonality beyond that, netted against staged removals and redeployable inventory by market. The output is a single by-market view of net Fridge count and launch dates that feeds the revenue forecast.
• Establish a single system of record for available Fridge inventory. Today the count is roughly 90% accurate but split across warehouse records and a decommissioned-at-site field with no clear owner.
• Keep Salesforce milestone dates accurate on a rolling basis through stale data checks, validation rules and scorecards to surface non-compliances.
• Run the recurring portfolio and removal review with clear pre-reads, recommendations, decisions, owners, and next steps.

Trackers & Data Integrity

• Own the fridge lifecycle execution tracker end to end status
• Own the exception register - every Fridge operating outside standard economic thresholds (strategic accounts, partner obligations, receivables holds), each with a rationale, an owner, and an expiration date.
• Build the feedback-loop dashboard: saved, converted, removed, and relocated outcomes, false positives, and time-in-stage - feeding lessons back into Account Management playbooks and Sales qualification.
• Own the portfolio scorecard: margin drag, backlog burn-down, and decision mix, distributed ahead of the weekly review.

Process & Governance

• Automate recurring manual workarounds: pausing stocking at an underperforming Fridge, opening an intervention case, or placing a Fridge into a dormant state when invoices go unpaid.
• Identify recurring breakdowns, determine root cause, and translate them into upstream process improvements rather than one-off fixes.

What This Role Does Not Own

• Whether an individual Fridge should be moved, converted, or removed - that analysis and call sits with Channel Strategy.
• The client conversation and commercial save motion - Account Management.
• Daily queue management, scheduling, and physical relocation - Senior Logistics Coordinator.
• Third-party vendor contracts, physical execution, and invoicing - Fridge Operations.

Who You Are

• 4–7 years of experience in revenue operations, business operations, GTM, strategy, FP&A, or consulting, including at least 2 years owning analysis end to end and driving decisions with cross-functional partners.
• Comfortable owning economic thresholds and defending them, not just reporting numbers upward.
• You build repeatable systems - trackers, ownership maps, standing rules - instead of solving the same exception twice.
• You work fluently with Finance and Sales on forecast inputs, not only with Operations on execution status.
• Deep understanding of how operational decisions connect to business economics: revenue, margin, payback, capacity, and resource tradeoffs.
• Proven experience with CRM and GTM tools
• Strong communicator who can influence cross-functional partners and is comfortable challenging assumptions when the data points to a better answer.

The base salary range for this role is $102,000 - $120,000 . The base pay offered will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for company performance-based bonuses and equity.
