Job Description

Laboratory Technician

Location: Boardman, OR
Job Type: Full-Time
Multiple Shifts May Be Available

Like science, quality, and figuring out why something is doing what it’s doing? We’re hiring a Laboratory Technician to support a busy manufacturing and production facility in Boardman.

You’ll perform routine testing, collect and analyze samples, document results, and work closely with production and quality teams to help make sure products and processes stay on track.

What You’ll Do

  • Collect and prepare production, raw material, and finished-product samples
  • Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis
  • Record, review, and maintain accurate test results
  • Operate basic laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Assist with chromatography, spectroscopy, or other analytical testing as applicable
  • Enter and manage testing information within laboratory systems such as LIMS
  • Follow standard operating procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements
  • Monitor results and communicate anything outside established specifications
  • Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked laboratory work areas
  • Calibrate, clean, and perform basic checks on laboratory equipment
  • Work closely with production, quality, and operations teams to support day-to-day testing needs

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous laboratory, quality control, food manufacturing, chemical, agricultural, or industrial experience is a plus
  • Education or coursework in chemistry, biology, food science, laboratory science, or a related field is helpful
  • Comfortable performing repetitive testing while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills
  • Experience with LIMS or laboratory software is a plus
  • Familiarity with chromatography, spectroscopy, or similar analytical equipment is helpful
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and accurately document results
  • Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
  • Able to work independently while still communicating closely with the larger team
  • Willingness to work varying shifts, weekends, or extended shifts when required

Why You’ll Like It Here

You’ll get hands-on laboratory experience while working directly alongside a real production operation, not just staring at samples in a quiet room all day.

It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys science, problem-solving, and being part of the team that helps keep quality and production moving in the right direction.

If you’re equal parts curious, careful, and dependable, apply today!
